Put 18 June in your diary for #MyWestminster Day
Leader of Westminster Council, Nickie Aiken, invites you to the bonanza of a FREE day out for all the family that will be taking place on Sunday, 18 June from 11am to 3pm at Paddington Recreation Ground, Randolph Avenue, Maida Vale, W9 1PD.
The community will be showcasing all that's great about Westminster and offer free food, entertainment, sports, family activities and much more to celebrate living in the heart of our diverse and vibrant city.
As well as a food tent where you'll have the opportunity to taste food from around the world, there'll be:
- Live entertainment
- Bungee trampolines
- Football with QPR
- Father's Day card making
- Bike checks and bike repairs with Dr Bike
- Fitness challenge with Everyone Active
- Dog microchipping
- Craft taster event (knitting and crochet)
and much, much more.
This event also marks The Great Get Together, inspired by Jo Cox, when over the weekend of 16 to 18 June, neighbours will get together as part of a national celebrations of what we have in common.
