With the help of a generous grant from London Plus, One Westminster was able to honour many volunteers from seven of its projects at a stylish evening event at the Hilton London Metropole last week. As well as supper, drinks and a few speeches, all 25 volunteers attending were presented with certificates of achievement and judging from the thank you notes that arrived the day after a good time was truly had by all.
Nigel Barber, Volunteer Service Manager, said: “Huge thanks to London Plus who enabled us to get together for the first time to celebrate properly the tremendous amount of time and effort our volunteers give week in and week out to help those in need of support in the Westminster community.”
