Westminster Community Network appoints new Chair and Vice Chair and welcomes new fund
Highlights from this week's meeting of the Westminster Community Network included the appointment of the new Chair and Vice Chair of the network. Hilary Nightingale (pictured left) of the Cardinal Hume Centre takes on the role of Chair and Deqa Salad (right), founder of Hear Women/GarGar Foundation, is now Vice Chair.The leader of Westminster City Council, Cllr Nickie Aiken (centre), who launched the #MyWestminster fund at the event said: “There’s £500,000 available in total – so get your application form in now!”
Up to £10,000 is available to voluntary organisations in Westminster whose applications are successful. The fund is open to all voluntary organisations, resident, faith and community groups. Click here for more info.
