WELLBEING CHAT

The Wellbeing Chat service is a telephone friendship initiative that was started by Westminster City Council in April 2020 and is now being run by One Westminster. Its purpose is to provide emotional support to lonely and isolated Westminster residents.

This one-to-one service matches a volunteer with a lonely resident, for a minimum of three months, offering a 30-minute call every week  to ensure the individual's needs are being met and provide a friendly social contact.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Would you like to help someone who is feeling lonely and isolated during this pandemic? Can you spare 30 minutes a week for a minimum of three months for a weekly telephone chat that will provide much needed social contact? We offer full training and a free DBS check. What’s more our team will support you for the whole time you're volunteering with us.

Simply take a look at the role description, then fill in the online application and monitoring forms, and we’ll get straight back to you to set up a phone interview.

If you have any questions about any aspect of the role, please email us at Wellbeing Chat or call Paola Pagliarin on 07484 542229.
