Introduction to online fundraising

The Localgiving London Development Programme aims to help groups to diversify and grow the income they receive, making them more resilient and sustainable

Thanks to funding from The Indigo Trust and a private philanthropist, Localgiving is able to provide up to 75 groups in London with the chance to develop their online fundraising capabilities, as well as providing each of these 75 groups with up to £300 in matched funds for donations received online.

Because of high demand, Localgiving and One Westminster are teaming up to run a third Introduction to online fundraising free training seminar, which will take place on April 10th 10.30am - 12.30pm at One Westminster, 37 Chapel Street, NW1 5DP

The aim of this session is to give a overview of what fundraising online can do for an organisation and the essentials of what it entails. It is most suitable for groups who are starting to fundraise online or expand upon their current efforts.

The topics that are covered are:

·  Why online fundraising is important in the 21st century

·  Tips for fundraising online

·  Attracting regular donors

·  An overview of Localgiving.org and Match funding
