Just for you monitoring and evaluation

Outcomes are the changes that we want to see in the world – less poverty, less inequality, more opportunities for people to live happy and healthy lives.  By monitoring our work, we can better understand how we contribute to achieving these changes, giving us evidence of our effectiveness and a powerful tool in planning services and applying for funding.

In this section, you can find basic information on the difference between outcomes and outputs and aims and objectives, as well as more detailed advice on outcome indicators and how to monitor project outcomes.

You can also read about measuring effectiveness and assessing long-term impact – are your services really having the impact you think?
