Grants are available to small community groups for work that improves the lives of people and communities in London who are affected by poverty and inequality. They can do this by providing support for people to access their rights and entitlements, and to speak out about issues which directly affect them.

There is no minimum or maximum size of grant and the amount requested should be the amount needed. The average grant is around £80,000 in total - grants do not normally exceed £150,000. Community groups with an income of up to £300,000 can apply.

Priority will be given to organisations that serve and are led by people from Black and minoritised groups, and to organisations that serve and are led by deaf and disabled people. 'Led' means that 75% or more of the Board of Trustees/Management Committee and 50% or more of staff self identify as deaf, disabled and/or from a Black and minoritised community.
