Description
Musicus is a social enterprise providing inspirational music education programmes and workshops for people of all ages in London. The Director of music was Senior Guitar Teaching Artist for the MidoriFoundation in New York for seven years, before returning to lead our programmes in the UK in 2012. We offer high quality group music making to create a sense of community and togetherness through the arts. Our organisation promotes and engages people of all ages in innovative and creative ensemble work, with performance opportunities for all - building confidence, artistic talent and above all fun. Over the past three years, Musicus CIC has provided programmes in five London boroughs, with continuing work in Haringey, North Kensington, Tower Hamlets and Westminster. We work with national accreditation schemes to provide awards to young people. We also work with many volunteers in our projects and provide work experience to young people seeking a career in the arts.
