Our ever-popular gardening days start this year with a trip to St John's Wood Church Ground Gardens, NW8 7NE where once again we'll be helping clear these lovely gardens to encourage spring growth. we'll meet there at 10am on Thursday, 11 April and spend a few hours gardening before going to lunch. All instruction will be given by a professional gardener. It's a great help to the local community and as well as a free lunch for those who'd like to join us, travel expenses will be refunded.
Says Volunteer Service Manager Nigel Barber: "This year we'll be running up to six gardening days and I'm hoping that they will continue to be truly inter-generational, attracting people of all ages - and all backgrounds.
