Description

St James's is a Church of England church in the heart of London, near Piccadilly Circus. Rooted in God's earth, we envision a just society and a creative, open-hearted church. Our projects include Feast and Sunday Breakfast, which are weekly meals for over 100 people experiencing homelessness and who are on low income, as well as support for refugees and asylum seekers, an LGBTQ+ group - Pride of St James's - and a wide range of outreach activities and events connected to earth justice and the arts. From walking groups and Sunday welcomers to partnerships with organisations including Home for Good and Citizens UK, there's something for everyone.
We welcome all. You don’t have to be part of the congregation to volunteer, and our volunteers are from many faith backgrounds and none.
To learn more about volunteering, contact the Associate Rector, Revd Dr Ayla Lepine: [email protected], or visit our website: https://www.sjp.org.uk/social-justice/
