Skills Active Forward (SAF-UK). is a community-based and non-governmental organisation that is registered in the UK (Charity Commission No. 1124643), Kenya, and Somalia. The Organization is led by educated diasporas with a strong sense of belonging to Somalia. SAF-UK has a proven history of working with and implementing community development programmes in the UK and Somalia.
In the UK, SAF-UK works with Brent and Westminster Boroughs of London to form a productive connection with the Somali community and provides voluntary organisations with advice, information, training, and guidance that will help them better deliver quality community services and initiatives. In addition, the organisation has a one-stop youth service centre that provides information, advice, counselling, training, and advocacy services on employment, housing, welfare rights, and education.
