Description
ReFAB Studio is a social enterprise arm of The Kartik Foundation, a registered charity devoted to supporting disadvantaged youths and communities. ReFAB Studio uses offcuts and deadstock donated by premium textile brands to train community tailors and students in the art of creative upcycling. Workshop benefits include reducing textile "waste", promoting circular skills and nurturing social cohesion and wellbeing. Over the last 6 years, ReFAB Studio has transformed 2000+ kgs of interior textile “waste”, created over 1000 upcycled pieces and supported over 365 tailors and students.
