Description
Riders’ Lodge CIC provides affordable hot food, rest space and basic bike repairs for gig-economy delivery riders working in central London. Riders typically spend 8–12 hours a day on Westminster streets serving the borough’s restaurants, with no access to toilets, shelter or somewhere to sit between orders. We are establishing a stall on Rupert Street Market in Soho. Our service users work in Westminster rather than living there, and the need we address — riders resting on pavements, in doorways and outside restaurants — is one Westminster residents and businesses experience daily.
