One Westminster aims to work with our local VCS - we are currently shaping a strategy we will be sharing here soon.
One Westminster, alongside our VCSE partners, are launching the Westminster HealthWorks programme. Westminster HealthWorks is a community-based programme that supports residents aged 16+ to live healthier lives through local activities and support. The programme will offer a mix of healthy lifestyle activities, talks and workshops, all led by trusted VCS organisations in the community.
Applications to join the programme are now open! Organisations can apply for Small Grants (£2-5k), Medium (£20-25k per year), or Large (£45-50k per year).
Applications for Medium and Large grants will close on Sunday 16th August 2026 at 11.59pm.
Before applying, please read the guidance documents covering Medium and Large grants, or the separate guidance document for Small grants.
We will be holding a Meet the Funder session on 16th July 2026 - please register on the One Westminster events page.
HealthWorks Application FormWe aim to include and direct support to people in our community and those working with excluded groups to assist in tackling the inequalities that present to these groups.
The key groups are often defined as those who face disadvantage due to factors like economic status, emotional and physical health, social identity, religion, sexual orientation, migration status and circumstances such as homelessness, sex working and contact with the criminal justice system.
The groups often experience combined barriers to accessing resources and participation leading to poorer health and life outcomes in comparison to the general population.
Ways in which we include and support will be defined in our health creation strategy here soon.
Shaping a VCS Mental Health Strategy – Get Involved!
We’re working together to create a new mental health strategy for the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) across Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. Led by KCSC and One Westminster, and backed by the Bi-borough VCS Strategic Group, this strategy aims to maximise the role of the VCS in preventing and addressing poor mental health in our communities.
Our goal?
To prevent mental illness, reduce the impact of health inequality, and ensure people have more control over the support they receive—support that’s accessible, joined-up, and culturally relevant.
Over the next 6 months, we’ll be:
How you can get involved:
Together, we can build a strategy that reflects the strengths of our sector and the voices of our communities.
